Md Moshiur Rahman completed his undergraduate research under the supervision of Safayat-Al-Imam (Assistant Professor, Dept. of EEE, AUST). It was a yearlong thesis which is a requirement for the fulfillment of the B.Sc in EEE degree. The research focus was on ballistic transport mechanism of carbon nanotube field effect transistor (CNTFET). The outcome of the thesis was the analysis of the performance of the CNTFET due to variance in the parameters under which a CNTFET operates and to find the optimal operating conditions to maximize the efficiency of this device by increasing the ON-OFF current ratio.
