The Master Sergeant James B. Manson Exceptional First-Year Cadet Award is a unique unit award given to a first-year cadet for performance and service above and beyond. The award was created in honor of one of our first Aerospace Science Instructors, MSgt Manson, who was part of our unit since its beginning and served as an instructor for 22 years.

The Major December Garcia Outstanding Fourth-Year Cadet Award is a unique unit award given to a fourth-year cadet who embodies Major Garcia's legacy of leadership, growth, and family. The award was created in honor of one of our Senior Aerospace Science Instructors, Maj Garcia, who joined our unit in 2017 and served as an instructor for 8 years.
