Speak to Lead 4-Week Training Program

Context: My Communicoach™ teaches emerging leaders and modern organizations how to elevate their leadership with effective communication skills. After conducting a needs analysis, My Communicoach™ contracted three instructional designers to help create the training needed to improve leadership communication within an organization.

Challenges: Improve leadership communication in organizations.

Solutions: Speak to Lead training program was developed. The training is a live, 100% virtual 4-week leadership communication course for new managers, new hires, and those looking to upskill their leadership skills through effective communication. Throughout the program a different topic is covered each week: 

• Week 1: Crucial Conversations

• Week 2: Effective and Efficient Communication

• Week 3: Successful Team Collaboration

• Week 4: Impactful Presentation Skills

Each weekly session is 60 minutes, with time allotted for live Q&A. Each session is recorded and sent out to participants via email afterward.

Results:  Instructional designers created a slide deck for each weekly session, including infographics for complex concepts and scenario-based learning prompts. In addition, participant and facilitator guides were developed as well. Cohort 1 of the Speak to Lead program launched in May 2023 and had a 90% satisfaction rate, as reported by participants' survey feedback.
