Semarang, 22 September 2026 — The Master’s Program in Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), conducted a community service program at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Walisongo Semarang. The program was aimed at students of the English Language Education Program and focused on academic writing.
The activity was part of the Master’s Program in Linguistics’ commitment to contributing to the development of students’ academic competencies, particularly in producing systematic, well-structured, and academically sound scholarly work. The session covered key aspects of academic writing, including developing academic arguments, organizing ideas, using references effectively, and improving the quality of scholarly writing for academic purposes and publication.
The participants actively engaged in the session and discussions, providing opportunities to share experiences and discuss challenges encountered in writing academic papers.
In addition to the academic session, the event featured the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (Perjanjian Kerja Sama/PKS) between the participating institutions. The agreement marks an important step in strengthening institutional collaboration and provides a framework for future cooperation in education, research, academic activities, and community service.
Through this initiative, the Master’s Program in Linguistics at UNDIP continues to expand its academic engagement and institutional networks while contributing to the development of students’ academic literacy and scholarly skills.
