The AMLE Foundation Fund is pleased to announce a request for proposals (RFP) for its new Successful Middle School Research Grant. The two-year grant builds on the Foundation’s previous investments in middle level education research and seeks research projects that will meaningfully advance the field’s understanding of the middle school model and the educational environments, structures, and practices that best serve young adolescent learners (ages 10-15).
The total potential grant award is $40,000 over two years. The Foundation is particularly interested in research that
Supports the strategic objectives of AMLE and/or National Policy Agenda for the Middle Grades and aligns with the MLER SIG Research Agenda.

Determining the efficacy of school improvement initiatives by partnering with schools or districts to use the Assessment and Progress Monitoring Assessments to track changes over time.
