Middle Level Education Research Graduate Student Mentoring Initiative Flyer: This “Meet and Greet” informational session is for any graduate student who is interested in conducting research on middle grades education and young adolescents. The session will center on the question, “What does the MLER SIG have to offer me as a graduate student interested in middle grades education research (e.g., opportunities to publish, collaboration on research, support for proposal submission)?” There will be a short panel presentation along with an opportunity for attendees to ask the panel questions.
Friday, March 26, 2021 –Navigating the Professoriate: Meet the Editors of Middle Grades Journals
Navigating the Professoriate_ Meet the Editors of Middle Grades Journals Agenda: This mentoring session supports early and mid-career SIG members who are interested in navigating the publishing aspect of the professoriate. Following descriptions of the publications, we will break into smaller groups by journal interest; here participants will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative conversations with individual editors. The session will conclude with an open forum where attendees can ask general questions.
