What will I be doing?
As an intern, you will join a community of faculties and researchers in an effort to research metal additive manufacturing with wire arc additive manufacturing systems. You will have the opportunity to carry out research in process modeling and control, fabrication, and characterization of manufactured materials. The exact research area shall be decided relevant to your background and interests.
Duration of the intern program
The duration is normally between 1 to 3 months. Post-graduate students who wish to carry out their thesis work shall be permitted up to one year.

Hands-on experience in handling testing and wire arc additive manufacturing systems.
Educational qualification
The qualified candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the areas of Mechanical Engineering/Design/Manufacturing/Production/Metallurgy. Candidates having previous knowledge in finite element simulation is an added advantage.
