Materials Joining and Testing Laboratory

This centre is headed by Dr.T. Ramesh & Dr.N. Siva Shanmugam. The main objective of the  Materials Joining and Mechanical Testing Laboratory (MJTL) at the National Institute of Technology of Tiruchirappalli, India, is to develop new and innovative technologies for joining materials. MJTL has excellent laboratory facilities and main areas of research to collaborate with the leading companies in the industry for research and development in welding and additive manufacturing. MJTL trains students at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels and collaborates with students from other institutes of excellence to expand their research.
