"The Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Academic Purposes: a Pros Side"
Nowadays, artificial intelligence is everywhere; it is impossible to live your entire life without using AI. Mobile phones, laptops, and other academic electronics that we use every day all contain AI. Many people are of the opinion that AI is bad for academia, whereas the use of AI in academia has significant benefits.
Util now, some have argued that incorporating AI into academic environments can encourage a dependence on technology, which could impair students ability to think critically and create obstacles for those who have limited access to digital resources. In fact, AI dramatically improves the learning process by making it more personalized and efficient by tailoring lessons to each student's needs, increasing productivity and student engagement. (Carlie, 2023)
Others argue that AI can make students lazy and uncreative, as it might encourage them to rely heavily on automated solutions rather than developing their own problem-solving skills. However, Pogla (2024) says that AI can also introduce new innovations for students, providing them with advanced tools and resources that inspire creativity and enhance their learning experiences. AI can also empower students to explore new ideas and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
The opposing people argue that using AI in academics can result in inaccurate feedback and inherent biases, potentially leading to misinformation and reinforcing existing prejudices. Nevertheless, according to Umnadmin (2023), artificial intelligence offers the advantage of providing students with instant feedback, allowing them to quickly identify and correct mistakes. Additionally, AI systems are continually improving, with efforts being made to reduce bias and increase the accuracy of student evaluations.
To sum up, AI significantly has many benefits for academic purposes, such as making the learning process more personalized and efficient, making new innovations, and giving instant feedback. So I suggest that using AI in a better way can make our academic purposes easier.
