 Personal Experience

I would describe myself as a very detail-oriented, motivated, and productive individual which has helped me succeed throughout my schooling as well as work experiences. My willingness to always produce the best work I can has helped me achieve a 4.0 GPA throughout attending SCSU. Working in residential construction has paired perfectly with these traits as well as my work ethic. Being able to see projects all the way through and getting a feeling of satisfaction from looking at my work is very fulfilling and motivates me to keep working harder and to do better every time.  

My school experiences as well as work experiences are both preparing me to succeed in my future career. Working for a contractor in residential construction has taught me very valuable information about pertaining to construction management and construction processes that cannot be taught in school. My future career aspirations are to one day become a project manager over larger projects such as office buildings, schools, and medical facilities. To begin my career, I plan on starting out as a project engineer. This will help me gain valuable experience and knowledge about commercial construction processes and will help me to develop my own path in the construction world.
