Here’s a list of all our events:
We're gathering at entrance to Mitcham Common by Galpins Road (CR7 6EH) to clean up Mayfield Road Playing Fields and Playground on March 14, 2026 at 12:00 PM .
We will be pledging and taking part in the Great British Spring Clean campaign. It's a great way to meet neighbours, get some fresh air, and help the environment.
Bring gloves, and we will provide the rest of the equipment (Thanks to Friends of Mitcham Common Valiant Litter Pickers).
Sign up via our Eventbrite Event or just come along.
Everyone's welcome—let's make a difference together!

On Sunday 26th October, we hosted our first event!
We hired the Sherwood Park Hall in Mitcham and hosted an afternoon all about hedgehogs. We had a range of activities from arts & crafts, footprint identification and finding hedgehog hazards. We also showed the award-winning short film by the BHPS, The Littlest Hoglet.
It was wonderful to have families come along, and I hope we inspired some young conservationists.
This event was funded by our SpaceHive campaign.
On Sunday 22nd June, we had a stall at Mitcham Carnival. We shared ways to get involved with our project, how to help hedgehogs, made hedgehogs from pinecones and coloured in. The Mayor of Merton visited our stall and shared his support.
On Saturday 26th July, we joined the Pollards Hill Walk and Talk for a lovely morning walk. We walked to Mayfield Road playground, then through the play fields to Mitcham Common and ended our walk at the Ecology Centre.
