Most of my primary and secondary education was through Spring Branch ISD; starting at Westwood Elementary, then Cedar Brook Elementary, Spring Woods Middle, a few years at an independent charter school, then returning to SBISD and graduating from Westchester.
I stayed in Houston for university, but have taken a number of online courses and trainings from universities and organizations from across the US, as well as a few from outside our borders.
Early in life, I wanted to go into medicine. That changed over time, from medicine to psychology, then to a specialization in art therapy. The underlying factor was working with people and helping people. My interest would later shift again; from helping people with medical or psychological problems to a focus on regular human development through education.
Education is also a humanistic field focused on helping others.
