Plagiarism is taking someone else’s work or ideas and presenting them as your own. Sometimes we may be plagiarizing and using someone else's work and not know. It is important that we are citing one's work if we are trying to use their words or ideas as a reference. An example of plagiarism in our classroom would be copying our friend's work. Writing word for word what our friends write means our answers are no longer our own idea. In this classroom, we will learn how to prevent plagiarism and how to cite work if we need it.
