Back at it! I used this blog as a resource last year during my first year teaching! Updating my site for my current kinder cuties! Happy September! As many of you know, Ms. Ivey celebrates her birthday in September! Thank you for all of the birthday love!

We have been busy in kindergarten! We have been learning about the letters of the alphabet, the sounds letters make, Big Ideas math, our numbers and how to write them, and so much more! In Social Studies we have been learning about how to be a good citizen and the rules of our classroom. We are digging into living and non-living things in science, talking about the different parts of an apple this week!

Thank you for continuing to be flexible and nimble as we navigate this school year! I have enjoyed getting to know your children! They offer such unique traits to our classroom family. Please continue to read with your children at home! Research shows that this is one of the most effective ways to grow a fluent reader! Thank you for all you are doing for your children.
