REMINDER

All GCSD schools will be closed through April 29th, 2020 barring any other changes.

During this time, students will engage in remote learning. Elementary teachers are expected to teach new material in ELA & Math. Students will engage in 4 hours of learning per week for ELA, 4 hours per week for math and 2 hours each per week for special area classes. For more information about how instruction will be delivered and what will be the focus of each subject area, please refer to the "our learning" tab.

I will have “office hours” or designated times during the week that I am available to you and or your children in real time. Additionally, there will be whole group and small group Google Meet sessions scheduled for the children to connect with each other and receive support if needed. A whole group morning meeting will be every Monday at 8:30 and small group Google Meet sessions will be every Friday from 10:00-11:00. Please check Seesaw every Thursday night for the schedule and group your child will be in!

Here is the remote learning schedule I created for my class. Remember, this is just a sample schedule of how you could set up your child’s day. If this schedule does not fit your family’s needs then you can create your own schedule to fit in the lessons and independent work in a way that works for you and your child :)
