Welcome to the Miskolci Lab!
Exploring innate immunity in health and diseaseย
What we do
__________
We are broadly interested in innate immunity in sterile inflammation and infection. We use quantitative imaging-based approaches to study innate immune response using zebrafish models of inflammation. This allows us to study context-dependent immune cell function in local microenvironments. Our goal is to harvest knowledge for better therapies and diagnostics in human and animal health.
We are part of the Department of Microbiology , Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics; the Center for Cell Signaling; and the Center for Immunity and Inflammation at New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, part of Rutgers Health.
