still life

For the still life artworks we were challenged to draw first as a blind contour, then with using our non dominate hand, and finally with using our dominate hand.

During this process I thought that I would enjoy the being able to see my work and using my dominate hand the most. When we actually did the drawing after seeing the results of the blind contour, even though it felt a bit stressful during the drawing process, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Since my expectations of the level of work I wanted to see from my art work was based on the blind contour both my dominate hand and non dominate hand did not make as good art works, at the time, which lead me to change what I thought. Even though it was weird painting with my non dominate hand and doing the blind contour, it is something I would go back and try again for fun.
