I am a food process engineer and researcher with expertise in food science, food safety, food processing, fermentation technology, standardization, quality management, and sustainable food systems. I currently serve as a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Ethiopian Standards (IES), where I conduct research on national and international standards, quality infrastructure, regulatory impact assessment, and evidence-based policy development.
Alongside my research career, I am the founder and CEO of Tampi AgroTech, an innovation-focused enterprise committed to developing sustainable solutions in food processing, mushroom production, and agri-food technology.

Grounded in a robust academic foundation, I hold a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Food Process Engineering from Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, where I completed extensive research in areas such as food microbiology and biotechnology.
Before this, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Food Process Engineering from the same esteemed institution, where I honed my skills in creative problem-solving and food processing techniques.
