I grew up on a commune outside Cave Junction, OR. I am a watermelon eating champion (x2). I went to undergrad at Loyola University, New Orleans, where I majored in History and Political Science. Since then, I've lived in Southern California, North Carolina, Southern Florida, and New Orleans. I currently split my time between New Orleans, LA and Houston, TX.

 I am married to Zachary Danner. We like to travel, eat delicious food, attend concerts, and explore New Orleans and Houston. In my spare time, I listen to honkytonk music, read, fight the patriarchy, cook, and hang out with my dogs and cat.  I'm a founding member of the #FeministMafia.
