This is a refreshed write-up I did a loooong time ago about the attack I used almost exclusively at TH8.
As with every single attack in the entire game of Clash: funnel is the most important element.
In this attack, the second most important element is: Dragons most important role is to get shot at. Their second most important role is dealing with the cc. Balloons are for killing stuff and staying safe. Don’t drop your balloons too early… or late ;)
TH8. Ideally you have a King, but it’s ok if not.

10 dragons, 2 rage, 1 heal (you can change this to 3 rage or 1 rage / 2 heal, if you like those better in practice) ← upgrading your spells makes a BIG diff in this attack
5 max balloons in the cc with haste (maybe poison, but only if you like it with practice)
Their base should have all 3 ADs grouped pretty close to the middle of the base you’re attacking
You want to attack a TH8.
You want to hit 2 of the ADs at once with the 3rd one behind them (probably behind the cc +/- the townhall from the other 2) ← watch the video to see how they draw a line on the screen
Don’t draw the cc. Their cc will distract your dragons and make them come off current targets to chase the enemy cc guys. In this attack: that’s what you want. so plan for them altering your path.
Every attack has the funnel as the most important element. The downfall of every clash attack is your army fighting a brick wall or a spell factory while the enemy defenses are crushing you.
Dragons have a wandering eye and will attack the nearest building, not always the nearest defense: you want to remove the distractions for them them so they go straight to the core, where the defenses, TH, and ADs are.
1) Funnel.
You want to use the minimum amount of troops to funnel, BUT keep in mind that if you don’t spend enough troops and your funnel is bad: all is lost, so don’t go TOO cheap.
Typically you can use a dragon on each corner. You might also consider using a king on a corner -- or (if the base you’re attacking permits) something cheaper than a dragon.
2) WAIT until the funnel is ready. (have I mentioned the funnel is important?) Then drop 1 dragon on each side of the funnel, but in the funnel. Count to 3. Now the rest in the very middle of the funnel.
3a) WAIT until the dragons are about to start taking AD fire (may not be a long wait). drop your first rage so that it touches the 2 ADs barely (so that your dragons will have it as they approach + as they are attacking the 2 ADs)
3b) Drop your heal at almost the same time as the first rage. You want the heal to overlap half of your first rage you dropped -- and the other half is further into the base.
3c) Now drop your max loons. Do your best to predict what the shortest number of “jumps” (defensive buildings) is between where you are clicking and that third AD.
^^^ typically you do 3a, 3b, 3c in that order but without a wait in between the steps
4) Rage 2: Drop the second rage so that it takes your troops to the third AD. Drop it as soon as it’ll actually help any of your troops.
The attack sequence didn’t tell you what to do with your king. You can either use him to funnel at the very start. --or-- you can use him to help with wandering dragons. If your dragons start to wander around the outside: (1) You want to practice your funnel more for next time and (2) You drop your king a couple buildings ahead of the dragons (where the dragons will be in a couple targets from now -- so he can destroy that building before they see it. ← you do not want him to attack buildings “with the dragons”, he should be ahead of them, so they turn.
We didn’t talk about your haste. Similar to the king, you use that to help out wandering troops that didn’t funnel quite right.
