Welcome!

I’ve always felt that Mira Catalina is a special place and I feel so fortunate to be part of the Mira Catalina Family. I love learning new things and I hope that you do too. Teaching second graders is especially rewarding because they are enthusiastic and capable learners.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me spending time with Mr. Mattera, my two sons (11 and 14 years old), a dog named Merle, and a big orange cat named Henry. I enjoy swimming, traveling, hiking in the Sierra’s, reading historical fiction, bird watching, and taking photos.
