I am so excited to join Mira Catalina this year to teach 2nd grade as a long term sub for Mrs. Liesy. I have worked at Mira Catalina for the last few years as a substitute teacher and love being part of a great team.

More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to share a few things about me.

I was born and raised in Torrance, CA and am the youngest of three! I have two older brothers who kept me on my toes growing up. Both of my brothers have made me a PROUD aunt to two wonderful nephews. When I graduated High School, I moved to San Diego to attend San Diego State University. It is there that I received my degree and teaching credential. I have Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Best Practices in Teaching. And I have also obtained an Early Childhood Education Certificate.

I’ve taught Kindergarten, 4^th grade, and middle school (6^th-8^th) for the last 12 years. I hold every student I’ve taught so very close to my heart. I love getting to watch my kids grow and blossom through the year. I love watching their personalities develop and getting to know each one of my kids for exactly who they are. Being a teacher is such a blessing!

I am so excited to be your teacher and for you to be part of the AWESOME, all-star class we have lined up for Room 9. This is going to be a fantastic year!
