I am delighted to announce the release of the updated digital eBook editions of The Decipherment of Minoan Linear A, Volume I, Part I and Volume I, Part II:
Volume I, Part I – Hurrians and Hurrian in Minoan Crete: Text, Bibliography, Maps, Appendices
Volume I, Part II – Hurrians and Hurrian in Minoan Crete: Text and Summary
These are the first eBooks ever published on Minoan Linear A, and they are now available for instant download from major digital platforms, including Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play Books, and Barnes & Noble, among others.
In addition to all the maps and figures included in the printed paperback editions, these digital versions feature high-resolution full-colour images, reproduced at full size for maximum clarity. They also include screen reader support, allowing you to experience the entire book as an audiobook if desired. Enhanced search functionality enables readers to quickly locate specific information or quotes, and built-in customization options—such as adjustable font sizes, line spacing, and background colours—make it easy to tailor the reading experience to individual accessibility needs.
These digital editions present faithful reproductions of the original printed versions of Volume I, Parts I and II. You can purchase and download the eBooks from the following platforms:
Amazon Kindle Store: available for Kindle devices and Kindle apps
Apple Books: available on all Apple devices
Google Play Books: available on Android devices, iOS devices, and on the web
Barnes & Noble Nook Books: available for Nook devices and Nook apps
Download your copy and enjoy reading The Decipherment of Minoan Linear A, Volume I, Part I, Hurrians and Hurrian in Minoan Crete: Text, bibliography, maps, appendices, and Part II, text and summary on your preferred device.
The digital eBook editions will be limited to Volume I, Parts I & II, because these books comprise the main text of The Decipherment of Minoan Linear A, Volume I, whereas Vol. I, Parts III, IV, V, VI contain the indices referring to the pages of the main text and have at the same time the function of extended glossaries, primarily interesting for University Libraries, Institutional Libraries and scholars / students interested in Minoan Linear A and Mycenaean Linear B and / or Hurrian studies and Near Eastern studies.
For the moment there are no plans to prepare an eBook edition of The Decipherment of Minoan Linear A, Volume II, Corpus of transliterated Linear A texts, Part I: Arkhanes - Kea, and Part II: Khania - Zakros. This position might change, if renowned institutions or libraries send a serious request for an eBook version beside the printed one.
