I conducted interviews and created empathy maps to understand the users I’m designing for and their needs. A primary user group identified through research was working adults who needs Nutrition informations in food menu app. This user group confirmed initial assumptions about restaurant customers in Rome, Italy, but research also revealed that some user needs to know ingredient of food to find out they are allergic to the food or not, some users need super easy user flow
Problem statement:
Aslam hossain is a health conscious Project Manager. Who needs Nutrition informations in food menu app, because he is on a low carbs diet.
Mapping Aslam’s user journey revealed how helpful it would be for users to have access to a dedicated Italiana food menu app with nutrition facts
Taking the time to draft iterations of each screen of the app on paper ensured that the elements that made it to digital wireframes would be well-suited to address user pain points. For the home screen, I prioritized a quick and easy ordering process to help users save time.
With the help of persona and problem statement, I started working on to solve the problems of my primary users
Digital wireframes
As the initial design phase continued, I made sure to base screen designs on feedback and findings from the user research.

Low-fidelity prototype
Using the completed set of digital wireframes, I created a low-fidelity prototype. The primary user flow I connected was ordering for food delivery, so the prototype could be used in a usability study.

I conducted two usability studies. Findings from the first study helped guide the designs from wireframes to mockups. The second study used a High fidelity prototype to revealed what aspects of the mockups needed refining.
In early mockup we provided user a list view option as default. But users prefer grid view because it shows the item image in large image instead of small thumbnail which forced user to open item page every time. In Refined mockups , now users can see the image in larger scale which allowed user to order faster, directly from the list.
In second usability study we discovered we user prefer to see variations of same dishes in single page instead of multiple item with pages. In refined Mockups i added a drop down menu to let users see variations such as pizza size to choose from without making the interface messy.
Second usability study revealed Users prefer clean designs. So, I redesigned the home page to look more cleaner so that users can focus on dishes to order.
High-fidelity prototype
The final high-fidelity prototype presented cleaner user flows for ordering food food delivery with prepayment
