"I do." That's where the trouble began. I looked over at her husband and wondered how long it would persist. But then, she was optimistic about this; I was too. Not for Wilhemina's sake but Marcus'. Her exes had an awful tendency of ending up on the missing list, not like she ever knew about it, that was my job.
Coincidentally, I would treat my colleagues to lunch at my house. It was the easiest way to get rid of the evidence.
"Anna," she exclaimed, "the cake is wonderful, what did you put in it?"
"Blood," I answered with a straight face and then permitted a smile as she nudged me playfully, "with my sweat and tears."
Wilhemina laughed. So did I.
My slender thumb traced her cheek, wondering if her eyes would remain on me even though her husband was beside her.
They did.
"Anything for you," I promised.

"I do." That's where the clownery began. I looked over at Lilith and wondered how long it would take her to realize that she has married an imposter. But then, she had a soft corner for me even though she was considered an embodiment of evil.
She's nothing like a girl you've seen before. I couldn't come to terms with the fact that I had married a charming yet intimidating immortal just to betray her. Her previous marriage with Adam was a joke, dude didn't get the concept of equality.
She gave me a stunning wedding ring, apparently of great importance to her. Little did I know that she had adorned me with her immortality. Rookie mistake.
One rainy night, the lights went out so I went down to electrical to do the tasks. She found this suspicious and the rest is history.

As a duck trainer with rich experience in lock picking, I never thought I'd make a good MI6 agent. However, it all changed one shady afternoon when I was training ducks at the zoo when suddenly a duck took a knife from under its feathers and stabbed the man behind me. I approached the now dead man and recoiled in horror when I heard the duck spoke. He was actually an agent from the MI6 in a duck suit who had come to recruit me for my lock picking skills. Here we are ten years later after saving the world countless times from bad locks, I can't thank Agent D enough because without him I would have never become MI6's best agent of the year five years straight.

"I do." That's where the trouble began. I looked over at my roommates and wondered how long it would take us to get there. But then, it was too late to back off. It was already 7:50, the peak time. When we reached there, we realized it being a holiday didn’t help, but had made the situation even worse. The horde was much larger, packed tightly, attacking each other to get in front. Even we were ready this time, we had our shoes and a few gears on. As decided the formation was made, we rammed through the swarm and managed to get to the vantage point. The vantage point was right behind the pillar, all I needed now was a leap. One leap and I had the hot crispy golden masala dosa in my plate. Today, I realize it wasn’t the Dosa but the hustle that made it tastier.

"I do." That's where the trouble began. I looked over at how she stopped fiddling with her spoon in relief and wondered how long it would be before I succumbed to my true feelings. But then, how could I possibly tell her the truth?
Remembering the last time we had this conversation, unfortunately, things have not changed. I wish I didn’t feel a pit in my stomach every time she held my hand or smiled at me suggestively. More than anything, I wish I could simply unburden myself and tell her how I really feel, tell her my skies aren’t all blue and the birds aren’t all singing; they’re shrieking as they avoid being engulfed by an eternal red. That is my sky and that is its hue.
Today, she asked me again if I feel lucky to have her. “I don’t.” Perhaps my troubles are at an end.

"I do." That's where the trouble began. I looked over at our wedding photo placed on the wall and wondered how long it would take her to find out. But then again, she didn’t seem to notice. I did not want the marriage. I was forced into it. She was ecstatic when “I” proposed. She was beautiful, had a soothing temperament and quite frankly had all the qualities one would want in a good wife. So here I sat, lamenting my situation. 3 days had passed since our marriage and she only seemed to get happier by the second. I on the other hand felt like a knife was being driven through my heart whenever I saw myself in the mirror. Ah yes, they call it guilt do they not? The coffee didn’t help and neither did the fact that the man I’d stabbed a week ago looked just like me.

A loud scream ripped through the silence of the night. The trooper picked up his pace and drove faster. To his surprise, what he saw was unlike any other, a guy down on one knee and the girl all happy. Trooper Patch could not believe at what lengths people go to propose their love, considering this happened in the woods and recorded utmost homicides in the state.
Trooper approaches them and tells that this isn’t the right place; the man replied that he had no other choice. They were interrupted by the radio advising people in or near the woods to get to safety as a killer was still at large. The couple accompanied Patch to a ride back to town, on the way he notices patrol cars lined up and two bodies, taking a closer look sends shivers down his spine; coming to realize it’s the same couple.
