We had the pleasure of being guided by Rebecca Medendorp, a counselor at our school, Henry M. Jackson High School. Her expertise and encouragement helped shape our campaign, providing us with invaluable insights that ensured that we delivered content that was both impactful and accurate. She guided us in identifying Risk and Protective Factors and connected us with outreach opportunities to spread awareness directly within school. We are beyond grateful for how much she has assisted us with our learning and the perspective she brought to our campaign.
Together we make up a team of three high school students who are passionate about promoting our peers' mental well-being! This journey has been incredible as we have built an online community dedicated to educating and supporting our peers in their mental health! We believe that small actions can lead to big change, and through our content we strive to empower self-confidence and self-appreciation that is beyond the influence of social media.
