EP.5: Asking from Within
Opening Sentence
The most powerful questions are not just well-formed — they are personally real.
Body
Many people learn how to ask better questions by improving structure, clarity, or depth.
But there is another layer that matters even more — where the question comes from.
A question can be clear, logical, and well-structured…yet still feel distant.
Because it is not truly connected to the person asking it.
When you ask from within, your question is no longer just about getting information.
It becomes a reflection of something real inside you.
It may come from curiosity, confusion, uncertainty, or even discomfort.
Instead of asking what sounds right, you begin to ask what feels true.
For example, instead of asking: “How can I be more productive?”
You might ask: “Why do I feel resistance even when I know what to do?”
This shift changes everything.
Because now, the question is not just external — it is personal.
And when a question is personal, the answer becomes more meaningful.
AI can respond to any question.
But it becomes truly valuable when you bring your real self into what you ask.
Try This
Think of something you’ve been wanting to ask AI.
Before asking, pause and check:
“Is this question coming from what I think I should ask…or from what I truly want to understand?”
Then adjust your question to reflect what is real for you.
Reflect
Am I asking questions that sound right…or questions that feel true to me?
