I’m Greg, the owner and primary personal trainer at ActKnowledge Performance & Recovery. With over 7 years of experience in both corporate gym environments and managing my own training business, my primary focus is on guiding you toward your goals in a sustainable manner. I believe in helping you reach your goals through proper form and exercise, prioritizing injury prevention and management, and building a foundation for a long and active life.
My path to fitness wasn’t typical. As a kid, I struggled with my weight and went through an eating disorder that made things even tougher. I know what it’s like to be the last one picked, to feel uncomfortable in your skin, and to deal with the kind of self-doubt that sticks with you. I also know how powerful it is when you start to take that back.
That’s what led me to fitness. It wasn’t just about getting in shape; it was about rebuilding myself, physically and mentally. I put in the work, earned my place as a Master Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness, and trained hundreds of clients over the years. But I wanted to do more... to give people a real, personal training experience where they felt seen, supported, and pushed to grow in the right way.
So I started ActKnowledge Performance & Recovery with one goal: create a space where people could train without ego, without judgment, and with someone who truly understands the struggle, because I’ve lived it.
Whether you’re coming in with injuries, self-doubt, or you’re just tired of starting over, I’ve got your back. I train real people with real lives, and I’ll meet you where you’re at, while pushing you to where you want to go.
