My name is Miles Kirshner and I attended Palisades Charter High School for 4 years. I have always thought writing was an art form and I seek to make my ability in it even greater in this class. When I was younger I always read novels but recently, as I have gotten older, I have begun to read more and more books that revolve around history, economics, or an academic subject like the two. I took a unique English class last year called War Literature, the emphasis of the class was on books about war and its affect on soldiers and civilians alike. I extremely value work ethic and a desire to improve. I seek to further my leadership qualities and bring those around me to the highest level possible. I can be impatient at times but through my hobbies and activities its something thats been getting better. I meet problems head on and don't dwell on the past, I accept failure as the necessary and most important component for growth.
