After a nine year hiatus, I started doing occasional solo multi-track recordings of cover versions of 60s and 70s songs.
In 2008 I managed to do some recordings with a great guitarist called Delwyn Thomas, then I lost his phone number. There's a couple of tunes to the right.
In the last few years, I have concentrated on Rutles songs under a project called "The Mikles", but I am also building up a set of covers of old singles to perform. Waterloo Sunset can be seen in the video, played on my birthday, the 50th anniversary of buying my first single.
From late 2017 onwards, I have been working on a radio project with Reynold Duncan (my old boss) and Rob Mitchell (producer) interviewing old Arts Opportunity Theatre people about their experiences. Editing the hours of natter is going to keep me busy for quite a while.
