Mike Taysum (guitar), Richard Magee (guitar), Rob Vaughan (bass and vocals) and Julian Hobbs (drums) plus joined for two weeks by a singer called Clive.
In the Autumn of 1986, Richard arranged to record a demo at Bruce Morgan's flat. The pair of us managed four rough tracks - It'll Do For A Start, Motor Beat Babe, Magee Instrumental and Tasty Bass Line. Richard was hawking the tape round when he met Rob Vaughan, who was also looking to form a band. Rob also knew a drummer - Jools. We booked rehearsal sessions at Antenna Studios in Redland starting in December.
We lasted until April 1987, and managed four recording sessions. We did have a singer called Clive for a couple of weeks. In 2006, I managed to compile an album's worth of recordings derived from about four hours of tape.
