Mikey has loved being creative since he could pick up a pencil. Trained in advertising, graphic design and print, but over the years has developed an extensive range of skills, specialising in finished art and image retouching. Mikey's sense of humour brings an added element to the table when needed, such as clever copy or a subtle pun.
His first full time position was working primarily in web design at Network 10 in Adelaide for 6 years, then made the move to Sydney where he began as the Marketing designer, producing all print, large format outdoor and transit advertising for Network 10, nation wide. Mikey stayed in that role for a number of years, becoming the Senior Marketing Designer, responsible for training up the new members of the team and eventually, moving into the role responsible for creating high-end concept art for the tier one programs.
And now here we are, Mikey is a free agent, gun for hire, freelance designer, ready to solve your design problems.

Responsible for the design of all print, outdoor and some digital material as briefed by the Marketing department. Also played an active role in the initial creative process, the brief for any photographic shoots and art direction during the shoot. Also took care of any design jobs that filtered through from other departments such as media gifts, fan cards, merchandise, event posters, invites, retouching etc. His final role involved the creation of the high-end key art with an emphasis of fine detail lighting and effects, which was rolled out across all platforms in market.
Looked after the initial design and input of all graphical content for the Network 10 website, entry of content for each program and page, as well as took care of the Flash animation updates. On occasion was asked to design invites and posters for certain events, press kits, as well as design, typeset and prepress for the internal network magazine, Take TEN.

Working closely with the owners of the company, helped create the original brand identity and the ongoing design collateral for their original website, social media posts and advertising, as well as the original apparel prints and patterns. The company has since grown into a multi-million dollar fitness and lifestyle superstore, but continue to provide patterns and designs for their clothing on a freelance basis.
