Knoxville Black Maternal Health Week is a community-centered initiative featuring local researchers, birthworkers, holistic practitioners, business owners, advocates, activists and professionals working within the realm of maternal health and wellness in Knoxville and the tri-cities. This platform brought awareness, education, interactive modules and art together in all things Black maternal health — addressing the shortcomings of maternal health for women of color and their families.
This act is known and may be cited as the "Tennessee Maternal Health Equity Advisory Committee Act."
