I am a proud native of Knoxville, Tennessee, and a graduate of Bearden High School. My journey into birth work began with becoming a Certified Birth Doula, a role that has allowed me to support and empower countless families. To deepen my care, I have pursued specialized training in traditional herbal medicine for pregnancy and postpartum, ensuring that the families I serve receive holistic and culturally informed support.
My passion for this work is deeply personal. Having experienced firsthand the transformative power of doula care during my own births, I felt called to provide that same empowerment to others. The impact of having a strong, supportive birth team inspired me to dedicate my life to advocating for birthing individuals—especially in communities that have historically faced barriers to equitable care.
As I continue my studies as a student midwife, my goal is to become the first Black Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) in my community. This journey is about more than a title—it’s about breaking barriers, reclaiming birth traditions, and ensuring that every family, particularly Black families, has access to safe, personalized, and culturally competent care.
My mission is to uplift, heal, and support families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I believe that every birthing person deserves to feel empowered, informed, and deeply cared for. By bridging the gap between doula support and midwifery care, I am committed to transforming maternal health outcomes and bringing much-needed change to my community.
Together, we can create a future where every birth is honored, every voice is heard, and every family is supported.
