Entering Costa Rica
Passport validity
Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months before entering Costa Rica (may vary depending on nationality).
Immigration
When you arrive in Costa Rica, you will need to complete a landing form and sign a customs form stating that you will not be bringing anything illegal or declarable into the country. Likewise, to enter the country, you must ensure that you meet the established requirements. First of all, the possession of a valid passport or travel document is required, with only those that comply with the machine-readable standards established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and with the validity specified in the current guidelines being accepted.
If the regulations indicate it, it will be necessary to obtain a visa under the valid guidelines. In addition, proof of financial solvency is requested, with the minimum acceptable amount being USD$100.00 (one hundred United States dollars) for each month or fraction of a month that you plan to stay legally in the country.
Besides, the immigration authorities may request: the presentation of a ticket to return to the country of origin, documentation indicating the reason for the visit (invitation letter issued by the organization), and a current vaccination card (in the case of yellow fever for applicable countries), proof of hotel reservation. It is crucial to ensure that you do not have any impediments to entering the national territory to guarantee successful entry to Costa Rica.
Visas
Some nationalities require a visa to enter the country. INURED requested the appropriate information in advance and an official visa application process was carried out. For people with nationalities from countries where Costa Rica does not have consular representation, upon arriving in the country, they must present the authorization letter issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Costa Rica. This letter allows them to enter the country if all entry requirements are met (valid passport and other documentation indicated in the previous section).
What is covered?
Accommodation: Bed and breakfast from February 4 to 8 and lunch and refreshments the day of the conference will be covered. Group dinners will also be covered.

For people who leave the country on February 7 and 9, transportation will also be coordinated from the hotel to the airport.
