What you bring:
You have a relevant degree and expereince which includes topics related to solid mechanics/engineering mechanics & numerical methods or applied mathematics*. At best, you have knowledge & interest in topics related to multiscale modelling & constitutive modelling of materials.
You have basic knowledge of programming & understanding of logic development upon formulation of equations. The ideal case would be if you are aware of programming in multiple environments such as MATLAB, Python, Fortran.
You have basic knowledge of using CAE tools such as ABAQUS/ ANSYS with a knowledge of the underlying equations & numerical procedures.
Very high tendency towards disseminating research in good journal & conference publications.
You should have traits of independent working & self-initiating along with teamwork & communication skills whenever required.
Scientific temperament, highly organized, disciplined working, analogical & creative thinking, an open mind set to accept challenging interdisciplinary problems & consistent perseverance to address them.
Very good spoken & written English language skills as well as the ability to convincingly present results in oral and written form. An optional desire to learn other languages such as German/French.
*Note: Except the point 1 the other requirements are flexible but it is expected to quickly learn & implement the skills depending on the needs of research work.
