I used AI in two ways to help me with this work. The first was with Ecosia's chatbot, to help unpack the information I was finding and succinctly incorporate it into my market analysis. The other use of AI was in crating the video I posted the "Establishing Context" section of this site. It was very helpful in creating a video to introduce myself and why I am interested in this venture for analysis.
In terms of my thinking for Assignment #3, my report has reinforced my belief that edtech ventures must first and foremost be accessible and easy-to-use for customers. For buyers, ventures must be interoperable, integrative, scalable, and secure. For investors, worthy edtech ventures are profitable and impactful. I have yet to consider the nature of my proposed venture for assignment #3, but creating a cheap and versatile tool that offers powerful integration and collaboration capacities is a tall order. I had been thinking about a personal AI coach or tutor -- I was envisioning a digital pet parrot that could be easily accessed on any device in any platform, helping students in a personalized manner to meet their needs as they navigate their day. It could be an academic, social, and emotional support. Issues related to privacy and data security would be top concerns, as the data could be accessed to profile students but could also help prevent issues from arising amongst student populations. The vision of the product would be to demystify AI globally while improving student learning -- by consistently having students use AI properly and productively for bright and successful futures.
