Micro Momentum ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Micro Momentum mobile application (the "App"), designed to help users with ADHD build momentum through tiny 5-minute (or less) daily micro-tasks.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
Information You Provide:
Account information (email address, username, password) if you create an account
Your micro-task history and completion records
Custom tasks you create
Energy level check-ins, mood ratings, and preferences
Notes or reflections you add to tasks
Automatically Collected Information:
Device information (model, iOS version)
Usage data (tasks started, completed, session duration, features used)
IP address and approximate location (city/country level only)
Anonymized analytics data to improve the app
We do NOT collect:
Precise GPS location without your explicit permission
Payment card details (handled entirely by Apple)
Sensitive personal or health data
We use your information to:
Save your task history and progress so you can see your momentum over time
Provide personalized micro-task suggestions based on your past completions and energy levels
Enable smart reminders and adaptive features (especially for Premium users)
Improve task recommendations using xAI reasoning
Send optional gentle notifications (e.g., “Just 5 minutes?”) if you opt in
Analyze usage patterns to make the app more helpful and forgiving for ADHD users
Process and manage subscriptions
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share information only in these limited cases:
With Apple Inc. for In-App Purchase processing
With RevenueCat for subscription management
With trusted service providers (cloud hosting, analytics, and xAI for task suggestions) under strict confidentiality agreements
When required by law or to protect our legal rights
All data shared with AI providers is minimized and anonymized where possible.
Your data is stored on secure servers in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. We retain your information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
You can:
Access, update, or delete your task history and account data from within the app settings
Request complete deletion of your account and all data by emailing support@micromomentum.app
Opt out of personalized suggestions, reminders, or analytics at any time
Turn off Low Energy Mode or any data collection features
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what data we hold about you, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of data. We do not sell personal data.
Micro Momentum is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
