Dr Arindam has received the FRGS Grant 2024 of RM206,124 (= 425050 USD) for 3 years (funded by Malaysian Government). 

Dr Arindam has joined the Editorial Board Member of Discover Sustainability by Springer Nature

Talk delivered: Past Environment of the Emerald Islands of India: Evidence from the white and black box fossils - Pal(a)eoPERCS 

Dr Arindam has joined the Editorial Board member of Sustainable Energy and Environment Review.

Dr Arindam has been invited for a talk at the Pal(a)eoPERCS (Pal(a)eo EaRly Career Seminar) virtual seminar series on 19 March 2024.

Dr Arindam has been awarded the SATU-JRS 2023 Fund from Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. The proposed project is a collaboration work with Universitas Arilanga (Indonesia) and UCSI (Malaysia). The selected project will be a work on "Bioelectricity generation from microalgae". 

Dr Arindam has been awarded the Bantuan Khas Penyelidikan (BKP) - Early Career Researcher 2023  Fund from Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. The proposed project is among the 50 applications selected from a total of 174 applications submitted. The selected project will be a work on Assessing the potential ecological risk of microplastics in the coastal sediments of Bagan Lalang, Peninsular Malaysia. 

Dr Arindam is joining the Bukit Anak Takun Scientific Expedition 2023 with the "Malaysian Cave and Karst Conservancy (MCKC)" group on 23 September, 2023 to understand the Microenvironments of the cave.
