Dr Arindam joined the esteemed journal "Journal of Chemical and Synthetic Biology" of Society of Chemical and Synthetic Biology (SCSB) as an Editorial member.

Dr Arindam has been awarded the Excellent Service Certificate (SPC) for 2024 based on the 2024 Performance Evaluation by Universiti Malaya. 

Dr Arindam is nominated as Councilor for the Geological Society of Malaysia (GSM).

Dr Arindam diatom picture has been selected for the 2025 edition of Diatom Calendar published by Young ISDR  

Dr Arindam is nominated and accepted as Affiliate for the YSN-Academy Sains Malaysia (ASM).

Dr Arindam is travelling to Poland for attending the The Micropalaeontological Society Annual Conference 2024 during 02-11 October 2024. He will be presenting two research papers.

Dr Arindam has been choosen for Mani Shanker Shukla Gold Medal 2023 for outstanding contributions on Indian material in the field of micropaleontology.

Dr Arindam has received the FRGS Grant 2024 of RM206,124 (= 47,914USD) for 3 years (funded by Malaysian Government).

Talk delivered: Past Environment of the Emerald Islands of India: Evidence from the white and black box fossils - Pal(a)eoPERCS 

Dr Arindam has joined the Editorial Board member of Sustainable Energy and Environment Review.

Dr Arindam has been invited for a talk at the Pal(a)eoPERCS (Pal(a)eo EaRly Career Seminar) virtual seminar series on 19 March 2024.

Dr Arindam has been awarded the SATU-JRS 2023 Fund from Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. The proposed project is a collaboration work with Universitas Arilanga (Indonesia) and UCSI (Malaysia). The selected project will be a work on "Bioelectricity generation from microalgae". 

Dr Arindam has been awarded the Bantuan Khas Penyelidikan (BKP) - Early Career Researcher 2023  Fund from Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. The proposed project is among the 50 applications selected from a total of 174 applications submitted. The selected project will be a work on Assessing the potential ecological risk of microplastics in the coastal sediments of Bagan Lalang, Peninsular Malaysia. 

Dr Arindam is joining the Bukit Anak Takun Scientific Expedition 2023 with the "Malaysian Cave and Karst Conservancy (MCKC)" group on 23 September, 2023 to understand the Microenvironments of the cave.
