WHAT DO WE HAVE?

Dr. Arindam's laboratory is located in old building, Department of Geology and is fully equipped to perform siliceous microfossil, calcareous nannofossil, benthic algae and foraminifer research.

​Adittionally we have the dacility to work on microplastics.

Some gadgets that we have:

Fume hood

Binocular microscopes, Petrographic microscopes, Light microscope 

Metal sieves for dry/wet sieving

and many more

Dr. Arindam's laboratory collaborates and shares equipment with other faculties in the department for geochemical and sedimentological work (e.g., XRD, GCMS, ICPOES etc.) and also in other reserachers in Universiti Malaya for different reserach projects.
