Something new I wanted to try out was a Konkani dictionary. Konkani is an Indo-Aryan language that claims origins from the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit. It has Portuguese, Marathi, and Kannada influences although it is very different from its Dravidian counterpart. This is something for anyone, whether you're fluent in Konkani or you're a beginner. Our language is one that is so different and unique that many don't know about it. So we need to preserve it and hence, a place where you can learn Konkani translations of English words. It's also a cool way to impress people at Michkon events!
Have fun and keep on learning!
Note: Please know that this is the Konkani spoken primarily by Hindu Gaud Saraswat Brahmins(GSB), also known as South Canara Konkani. There are other dialects of Konkani, like the one used in Goa, but Michkon members mainly speak this variant.
