This website will include a calendar featuring our events and our email newsletter, E-Suddi. It will also include information about what Michkon is, how to become a part of Michkon, fun Konkani things to do, and who the people behind this amazing organization are. Welcome to Amgel Michkon! The 2025 Michkon Entertainment Committee calls each one of you to showcase your talent in music, dance, instrumental, Konkani skit , Konkani jokes and so on. Have a great entertaining talent, but don’t see it listed? No worries!
To participate in any entertainment activity, please contact Asha Mallya and/or Manjula Kamath (phone # in email)
• Last date to enroll for the Ugadi Entertainment program is 24th March 2025
• The enrollments will be accepted on first come first serve basis
• We encourage members to participate in large numbers and request that preference be given to group performances
There is no restriction/age bar for performing. Participation from the young and the younger is most welcome!
We are also looking for volunteers to cook for this year's Ugadi event as well as the Ganesh Chaturthi event. Please contact Sneha Kamath or Keerthi Shenoy directly if interested (contact information in email)
Our purpose is to help spread the cultural identity of us Konkanis living in the state of Michigan. Bringing people closer together as both friends and family, and strengthening our bonds is our number one priority.
Michkon has been providing a community to the Konkani American population living in Michigan for 40+ years. Over 100 families call Michkon their community and we're very proud of our heritage and our members
