Hi everyone! My name is Anvita Chitrapu and I am a senior at the University of Michigan,  pursuing a BBA at the Ross School of Business with a UX/UI Design Minor through the School of Information. Outside of academics, I enjoy dancing, playing tennis, and playing the piano. I joined Google CLP in 2024 to bridge the digital divide that many nonprofits in the community experience, and am looking forward to making a tangible impact again this year! 

Hi! My name is Ignacio Garcia and I am a senior studying Business at the Ross School of Business with a minor in entrepreneurship. Outside of the classroom, I have experience interning in Wealth Management, Strategy Consulting, and Investment Banking . I also love playing and watching soccer and training for triathlons. I’m looking forward to supporting my Michigan community through Google CLP this year!

Hi everyone! I'm Siya, a senior at the University of Michigan studying Public Policy with a concentration in Sustainable Global Development and minoring Economics. It has been a passion of mine to help underserved communities, whether through legal advocacy or by helping small minority-owned businesses strengthen their operations. I love learning about how sustainability, policy, and technology can come together to create equitable solutions for local and global challenges. I’m incredibly excited to work with nonprofits around Michigan and continue making a positive impact in my community!

Hi everyone! I'm Darnyl, I'm a junior at the University of Michigan pursuing Business Administration with interests in technology, marketing, and strategy. I love to play basketball, video games, travel and wander around campus! I'm super passionate about working with companies that want to contribute to the well-being of impoverished communities, and giving back to those in need. I love Michigan, I love meeting new people, and I love creating new opportunities for others!

Hi everyone! I’m Anita, a senior at the University of Michigan studying Cognitive Science (Decision Track) and Psychology, with a minor in User Experience Design. I’m passionate about understanding how people make decisions and how thoughtful design and data can make systems more human-centered. Outside of class, I love organizing community and campus events—whether it’s creative showcases, volunteering initiatives, or mentorship programs. I’ve also worked with nonprofits and startups on projects that combine strategy, psychology, and design thinking. In my free time, I love boxing, making custom fragrances, and exploring Ann Arbor’s café scene. I’m so excited to be part of CLP this year and can’t wait to collaborate with local nonprofits to create meaningful impact!

Hi! I'm Katelyn, a current sophomore studying Business Administration at the University of Michigan. With an interest in nonprofit operations and their community impact, I'm so excited to join the Google CLP this year! I look forward to collaborating with nonprofits in Ann Arbor to maximize their goals and strengthen local engagement.

I’m Jaidyn, a sophomore studying Social Theory and Practice with a concentration in Nonprofit Development / Consulting. Having worked with nonprofits across the midwest, I am so excited to expand my reach with CLP throughout the state of Michigan!

I’m Neelu, and I’m from Okemos, Michigan! I’m a junior at the University of Michigan studying Computer Science with a minor in User Experience Design. I’m in my first year in CLP and so excited to be part of this community! I’m passionate about using creativity and technology to make a positive impact, and I’m especially looking forward to working with nonprofits and community organizations to help create meaningful change. I’m driven by the goal of using design and collaboration to empower others and strengthen communities.

Hello! My name is Daniel Simpson, and I am a junior studying Business and Theatre with a minor in User Experience Design. In my free time, you can find me acting, singing, cooking, advocating against bullying, working out, cafe hopping, and going on adventures with family and friends. Looking forward to connecting with small businesses for a second year, showing how Google's tools can make their dreams come true!

Hi! My name is Maryam Hamka, and I am a rising senior studying Business and minoring in Sustainability. I am originally from Saginaw, Michigan, and grew up in Dearborn, Michigan with my parents and 2 brothers and 2 sisters! Outside of classes, I enjoy thrifting, playing electric guitar, and going on long walks with friends. I am excited to give back to a community that I grew up visiting and currently go to school in, in addition to giving back to the broader Metro Detroit area as well. Community outreach, volunteering, and more have always been dear to my heart, and I can’t wait to start year 2 at Google, giving back to Small Businesses in the area!

Hey! My name is Asmah Bah, and I am a current senior studying business administration at the University of Michigan with a concentration in tech. During my free time, you can find me promoting and working on my business, MO.EST, where I sell non-slip satin-lined hijab caps that protect the natural hair of the wearer. Excited to be apart of the CLP team this year and teach other small businesses how to use Google tools so that they can grow even further!

Hi! My name is Maya Lindsley, and I am a senior studying Business with a minor in Entrepreneurship. In my free time, I love singing, self-improvement, doing arts and crafts, exploring new places, and finding ways to help people integrate wellness into their lives. I'm passionate about all things entrepreneurship, especially working with startups, so I am extremely excited to empower small businesses with Google tools to help them grow and realize their dreams!

Hi all! My name is Rhea Misra, and I currently am a junior studying Industrial and Operations Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. I’ve always been incredibly interested in strategy and how we can leverage business implementations to uplift the communities around us, which makes me incredibly excited to be apart of the Small Business Team with the Community Leaders Program. Outside of school, I am involved in a Consulting Club on campus, love trying new workout classes with my roommates, am a huge “Gilmore Girls fan”, and love to spend time with family and friends. Looking forward to this next year with the Small Business team seeing the positive impact we leave on the businesses around us! 

Hi! My name is Mia Wang, and I am a junior graduating in May 2026 studying Biopsychology, Cognition, & Neuroscience with a minor in writing on the pre-law track. I’m originally from Allendale, NJ, and interested in the intersection of business law, technology, and science. Outside of Google, you can find me weightlifting, golfing, playing tennis, or watching basketball (go Pistons!). I’m super excited to help small businesses by particularly using Google AI and technology to make a real impact in our local community.

My name is Han Zhang, I'm a Junior majoring in Computer Science with a Business Minor and an International Minor for Engineers. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about creative and active pursuits—you’ll often find me dancing, working out, drawing, capturing moments through photography, or picking up new skills (I recently learned how to crochet!). I'm excited about the opportunity to work with small businesses and help them grow by leveraging Google’s tools and technologies.
