Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics
Postdoctoral research positions are available in the group of Michael Vogl at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. We invite candidates with expertise in various areas of interest, like strongly correlated electron systems, quantum magnetism, and emergent non-equilibrium phases of matter.
A successful applicant will join the vibrant and dynamic research environment at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in a newly established center with a focus on Quantum Condensed Matter Physics and Quantum Computing - the interdisciplinary research center for Advanced Quantum Computing (AQC). Famous theorist Daniel Loss heads the center.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in physics (completed or near completion).
Strong background in theoretical condensed matter physics.
Experience with analytical many-body methods, field theory, and numerical techniques is a significant plus.
