This course explores the models for the assessment and evaluation of teaching and learning in the online environment. This includes examining level-appropriate evaluation methods, creating and applying assessment tools such as rubrics, and how the extraction of data shapes student, course, program, and institutional success. Students will interact with online learning policies, accessibility, and through the data, develop strategies for continued success. Students will examine a variety of quality indicators for the assessment of online programs, with an emphasis on those pertaining to teaching and learning.
