International Centre for Applied Systems Science for Sustainable Development

ICASSSD is an independent, international not-for-profit organization headquartered in the Kitchener-Waterloo region, in Ontario, Canada, dedicated to advancing Systems Science and Sustainability solutions in Canada and worldwide.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our third research school, themed Dynamic Sustainable Solutions, from May to August 2025. This program offers young researchers a unique opportunity to engage with the multidisciplinary field of sustainable development. A distinguished panel of experts from the University of Waterloo, University of Western Ontario (London, Ontario), University of Toronto, and University of Delhi will select a cohort of 20 exceptional students. Participants will receive comprehensive training in research methodology and mentorship to explore a sustainability-focused research problem of their choice.

To ensure broad accessibility across North America and India, all sessions will be conducted online. The program will conclude with the publication of a research paper compendium featuring the students’ work.  For more details, please see the attached brochure or visit https://www.icasssd.org/.
