Mario Fernández is the Director of the Knowledge Center at the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, an initiative he launched to serve as a leading hub for knowledge exchange and experiential learning among business communities in the U.S., Spain, and Latin America. He oversees the design of impactful educational programs, fosters strategic partnerships, and develops initiatives that drive innovation and international growth.
Previously, Mario served as Marketing & Communications Director at the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he spearheaded campaigns, expanded sponsorships, and positioned the Chamber as a key platform for transatlantic business engagement.
Before joining the Chamber, Mario worked at Turespaña (Tourist Office of Spain in Miami), leading marketing and PR initiatives to promote Spain as a top destination for U.S. travelers. Prior to relocating to the U.S. 6 years ago, he worked in the International Business Department of a private university in Spain, focusing on Latin America through marketing strategies, institutional partnerships, and digital advertising.
Mario holds an MBA from ICEX-CECO and is passionate about creating strategic opportunities that connect markets across Spain, the U.S., and LATAM.
