In Spring 2022, I was accepted as a student intern to assist Dr. Mike Heithaus, Executive Dean of College of Arts, Science, & Education, in enhancing the student experience and engagement opporunities of the College.

Established the first official student organization dedicated to sustainable and recreational fishing at FIU. As President elect, I emphasized commitment to equity and inclusion in the club's foundation.

Spent six consecutive years working alongside culturally diverse students to explore complex challenges in low-income communities, such as poverty, healthcare, and education.
