Project SEARCH is a school-to-work transition program that provides immersive workplace experiences for young adults (typically ages 18–21) who are eligible for transition services. Interns participate in a full-day, real business setting while receiving instruction and support to build employability and independent living skills.

Interns rotate through multiple internship experiences to build a strong work history and discover strengths and interests.
Interns will practice and grow in areas such as:
Workplace communication and professionalism
Attendance, punctuality, and stamina
Task completion, independence, and accuracy
Teamwork and problem-solving
Self-advocacy and goal setting
Resume building and interview preparation
Typical Project SEARCH components include:
Internship Rotations: Multiple placements across the year
Daily Instruction: Employability skills, workplace expectations, and career readiness
Coaching & Supports: Job coaching, skill-building, and fading supports over time
Collaboration: School team + family + host site working together toward employment outcomes

Internship opportunities may include a variety of departments and work environments on campus. Supports focus on building career skills, independence, and job readiness within an inclusive community setting.
