Hello all!
We are excited to invite you to our introductory session of Roadmap to Independent Living! Are you thinking about gaining more independent living skills? Have you had talks about moving out? This new introductory session, along with five more learning sessions, features our experiences supporting individuals who are transitioning to independent living. Feist VCP has been teaching independent living skills for many years, and recently partnered with the Brennan apartments to create a one-of-a-kind supportive home care model in an apartment complex that is connected to the Feist office. Join us as we discuss our learned lessons and experiences providing supportive home care services and what it takes to be ready. Please note this intro session and all upcoming spring learning series are open to participant and family attendance (we encourage all participant families to attend). A comprehensive resource packet will be available and light refreshments will be provided at the introductory session.
This event can be covered by IRIS funding. Please reach out to your IC with the authorization request below to attend. Private pay options also available.
Location: Brennan Apartments - 4th Floor Community Room. Please meet at the Feist office lobby and a staff member will escort you up.
